Tottenham have finally been successful in their loan talks with Sporting Lisbon for defender Pedro Porro.
The move is close to being finalized after intensive negotiations and optimism is growing that the transfer will be completed before the deadline. The deal will be an initial loan of £5m with an obligation to buy for a fee rising to £39m.
Porro flew to London on Tuesday morning and the deal could be completed soon, with the wing-back subject to a medical at Tottenham. Due date.

Analysis: A major upgrade at a key position
