Meteorologist Tamara Berg says we can expect some showers throughout the day on Monday with snow above 4,500 feet. Here’s what our weather team says you can expect:
RAIN ON MONDAY
Berg says a good, deep rain will fall around 9 a.m. on Interstate 80 and eastbound on Highway 50.
“So if you have an afternoon or a mid-morning errand to run at this time, be prepared. You could have slower than normal traffic on the roads as the rain really comes down,” he said.
Around 3:00 PM, occasional showers will flourish again with the occasional rumble of thunder.
The Valley could see 0.10 to 0.40 inches of rain, with the Foothills possibly .25 to .75 inches.
The system is expected to move out of Northern California by Tuesday.
SNOW
