Serbia made it difficult against Brazil in their first match. Their attempt to slow down the side’s power didn’t pay off as they conceded two second-half goals last Thursday en route to a 2-0 defeat.
Cameroon and Serbia met in a friendly in 2010, with Serbia coming out on top.

Although Brazil cruised to a much-needed win over Serbia to start their World Cup transition on the right foot, with Richarlison scoring twice in the second half, they were dealt a heavy blow. Korea met Uruguay in a match that was quite exciting in the first half of the game last Thursday. However, neither team was willing to give up points in the match as Korea settled for a point in a goalless draw.
In a completely different result, Ghana found themselves in a penalty shoot-out against Portugal. Despite scoring the first goal of the match, Andre Ayew equalized in the 73rd minute. After Portugal hit back with a few more goals, Ousmane Boukari brought the West African side within one in the 89′, but it was too little, too late as Ghana accepted a 3-2 defeat.
This will be the fifth competitive match between these two countries, with Korea posting a 2-1-1 record against Ghana.

As previously stated, Uruguay were looking for a win in their opening match of the tournament, but their plans changed against Korea last week. The South American side will need to continue the game on Monday if they are to secure a place in the round of 16.
Portugal are happy with the three points they earned in their win over Ghana last Thursday, but perhaps not with the way they got them. An aging Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 65th minute from the penalty spot before Joao Felix and Rafael Leao opened the scoring in quick succession later in the second half to help the Portuguese to a 3-2 win.
Uruguay defeated Portugal in their first meeting at the World Cup in Russia four years ago, edging out a 2-1 victory in the round of 16.
